Default Navi Woe's

Good Day,
Just purchased/received a white DVD update for my 09 RL popped it in the player got a message on the screen to check with my local dealer...wondering if anyone on here have had this problem before or any knowledge of how to fix.

Did you buy the update disc from Acura? If so, it should have just updated with no issues but if it's a bootleg/burned DVD those are problematic. I also think there's problems is you have an '05 or '06 Navi and are trying to install the 2016 update. Seems like I remember reading having to do an intermediate update and then the latest one. Check on for more details. Good luck---
