Rear Brake Hoses for '89 L Sedan
Replacing brake hoses and see the '89 Legend has different hoses for the rear (Meiji or Nihirin). Is one for 2-door and the other is 4-door? I have 4-door and believe it takes the Meiji. Can someone give me the lowdown on this?

I've never seen a sedan rear brake hose setup. But looking at Rock Auto's parts catalog between 1989 and 1990, 1989 appears to be a cross over year for different calipers. I think the only difference is the hose that's attached to the caliper.
Crawl underneath or remove a rear wheel and look at the caliper and the hose that's attached to it. Meiji: Nichirin: I'm guessing the brake hose and routing looks like one of these: Meiji: Caliper - rubber hose (with bracket) - hard line - rubber hose Nichirin: Caliper - rubber hose (without bracket) - hard line - rubber hose https://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/...rake+hose,1792 You can try here and searching with your VIN number: https://www.acuraoemparts.com/ Take the Honda part number and enter it here and see what comes up: https://www.rockauto.com/en/partsearch/
