Unfortunately the wire snapped on me last time I was bleeding the coolant. I cut it back a few mm and crimped a new connector on. The entire wire itself is super brittle.

if a cylinder isn't firing, it will cause the ticking sound you are hearing. Find out which cylinder (s) is/are misfiring and see if its an ignition issue, fuel issue, etc.

3 in. might be too big causing the exhaust velocity to be lower. 2.5in. is optimal from what I remember. hondaman LSD is a main factor in traction.
