if we put the throttle body on the very top it might work. or to make it still fit under the hood, we can have 2 throttle bodies. one on each side of the supercharger

that will up the cost, not to mrntion add more tuning variables.
another thing is that most of use are not willing to modify the hood just to fit a supercharger. It would really kill the look. If you plan on going all at racer you can do like the civic boys and cut it through the hood.

well i might have said this before...
Most of these whipple and roots S/C (OEM) have a TB on the far end which would mean it would face the rear of the engine bay in a legend (firewall) mounting a filter back there or running pipping would not be that easy but it might just work. A did a more detailed post about this a few pages back iirc |

I never saw this thread before but off the top of my head I think there is enough room between the motor and the firewall to route the intake pipe. And put the filter to the right of the brake booster(where the charcoal can is).

M90 mounted where the lower plenum now is would delete VIS. You'd need to check how to run oil feed etc, to the S/C A setup like telion pointed out is still very attractive, Honda V6 generally responds awesome to M90 & M62 S/C's testament to that would be CTSC kits on C30A,C32B,J30A,J32A,J35A Although there J kits are M62 and a bit on the small side for 3.5+ engines. Twin AMR500 setup might be a bit complex but would have a nice show factor. But that's going off-topic as that isn't basic in terms of piping, mounting and pulley. They are how ever dirt cheap. |

why not just go the route they do on the ls series engines and run a prop shaft to the back and have the throttle body in the stock position? I think this would help in keeping everything compact and relocating the throttle body seems like it would be a mess. If somebody can get the width of the s/c body you could build a cardboard box the same size and measure the clearance between it and the head/upper half of the intake manifold. I'm sure the schematics are available online including ones for the prop shaft system.
