I'm STILL amazed at how Honda/Acura changed things as the model years increased. My 1994 GS you have to go through this removal process. I discovered that in my 1993 LS Coupe the stereo code is on the underneath side of the engine bay fuse panel lid. I had NEVER seen that before and due to the lack of earlier year Legends in salvage yards I've yet to see if any others have done that. I guess that would make things simpler for Acura technicians to reset the radio after servicing the vehicle. I don't imagine theft is a big problem these days with cassette players so has anyone else seen that in their Legend?

Yeah, I've seen that numerous times; also on the bottom side of the removable ash tray.

oem they came with a card that had a what could be used as as sticker, and it was really at the owners discretion as to what to do with it.
