or the fact iphone will mostlikely be coming on vzm network early 2010?

Oh Be Very weary Mr Daiz....
Moto has screwed me over with its motorola Evoke, supplying a Buggy phone with no Updates as of yet. They have provided me with little or no customer service, and Now I hear they have discontinued any operations for updates to fix my phone...
as again I say be very weary..

Also have you heard... there in a bit of a financial down turn, they cut 8000 reps not to long ago... Broke company = shitty phone and service.

my oldest son Dan is a HUGE Apple follower and my daughter works for Car Toys, ( a large car audio/cellphone retailer ) they both tell me AT&T is spending HUGE $$ to keep the i-Phone exclusive to AT&T so no i-Phone for verizon anytime very soon. (maybe 2013/2014 from what I'm told)

as a matter of fact... Motorola is one of those "Wait and see what happens" corporations. They release a phone with all this hype "Google maps" and wait to see if the public buys into it. if so they continue to provide support for the phone enhancing its capabilities, otherwise they drop it and say they are working on its prodecessor that will fix any bugs in is current version.

I'm pretty excited to learn more about this phone but I agree with business, definitely have to be cautious with motorola. I'll wait it out a bit and see how the phone fares. My brother is a verizon rep so I'll get the no BS assessment for when my contract comes up in March.

Well, for my part ....

(1) My Moto RAZR is still my phone ... amazing, reliable beast!
(2) No iPhone for VZW for the immediate future.
(3) Android 2.0 is a SERIOUS contender for the software telephonic market.
(4) VZW is the best network and (for me) the only one with solid reception near my next house location.
(5) The Google GPS Maps thingy is a major, major app.

I'm up for a Moto/VZW upgrade and this is the trick!

dammit i was looking forward to that. i have a older LG with verizon (love it, all my cells have been LG) i think i might get this phone next, i'm due for a free phone
