			Ok ive been seriously debating this and I think i seriously want an rl, but only between 02-04. Few questions. For those who own them. How often do you get mechanical problems/issues. And if so around what milage did you start to notice that you had to spend some good cash to keep it running smooth? Are HBG's as common as the earlier models?

			If you don't let people mistreat your car when you have it serviced, it will be crazy reliable. My 04 has had some issues, but it was purely a Mechanic's (hack) Fault, and It was my fault for trying to chase the problem myself instead of just taking it to the dealer and finding it (which i ended up doing and getting it mostly worked out) Outside of that, I've had zero issues with my RL. OHHH and the OPDS computer is under warranty up until 157,500 miles (no matter where you buy it). so if you get one and the SRS light comes on, don't be afraid to take it to the dealer. |

			My SRS light has been on for a long time. I didn't know they did anything for it under warranty. Well i'm gonna have to take it to the Acura dealership to get this fixed...i've had my 02' since 2005/78,000 miles and now has 135,000. I've had no major issues at all with this car...My first car was a 1989 nissan maxima which always broke down.

			Alright sounds good so now i wont be afraid to drop 8k on a 02 with 85k miles on it.Imma see if i can work a better deal though

			I have a 2004 I never had any issue either. Even when my dad had the car at 60000 mile and now it has a little over 83000 miles I want to bring it to the dealer so I could get serviced timing belt water pump you those stuff. I had a civic and spent so much money to get it ready. With the rl I only spent 400 for a navi cause the orginal one failed that's about it

			I got my 96 RL in 00 when it had 47k on it.  8 years and 204k later, it finally died with 251k.  Great car.  Usual maintenance with the typical early RL problems (radiator, main relay, rear regulators...).  I really liked the 96 - 04 RLs.  To me the 05+ look too similar to other Honda's....
