damn you facebook. i found an old friend from school that i went camping alot with on facebook. we had alot of fun times camping and what not, didnt think too much of it. (except for one drunken night) anywho, i was looking through her profile, and shes a hooters girl, which i though was cool, then i found out shes gonna be in the FUCKING CALENDAR! shoulda pursued her more after school. oh well.

I went to hs with a lot of now rappers (mostly underground/features). Biggest claim to fame is pat mcafee he's the kicker on indy colts. I fought him once in the middle of class and we used to compete a lot till I moved away.

I went to school with Adam Wainwright and Kwame Brown. I used to drive golf balls at Wainwright, but wouldn't want to get beaned with one of his baseballs now!

I also dated Tom Coughlin's daughter (Katie) when he was coach of the Jaguars (1997).

One guy I went to school with works for Facebook, another is some multimillionaire, (keep in mind these guys are still in their mid to late 20's)

Another guy plays football for VT.

There might be a few more, but no hot girls or anything really did anything.

A little off the topic but not too much...

I remember my Junior and Senior years of HS, military recruiters would come to our class rooms like twice a year to do presentations on joining the armed forces...

Their selling point:

Give 4 years of your life to the military and we'll pay your way through college...what do you have to lose? We are in peacetime right now and there hasn't been a war in almost 10 years...

Did I mention this was in the year 2000/2001? We graduated in June 2001 hgeez:

Now don't get me wrong...I know there's plenty of folks that join up knowing what the deal is...hell my sisters fiance joined the Marines because he wanted to give back to his country...

But I remember so many friends back in HS that only joined for the benefits and had no interest in seeing any kind of combat campaigns...they were simply hoping we wouldn't see any major conflicts in the next 4 years...well you see how that plan worked out hgeez:

stumbled across a bunch of highschool "people" on facebook... all the broads are either now gay, or had a silly amount of kids. That or they gained so much weight that i don't even recognize them anymore...
