				  | Turbo questions!

im just curious why telion and DV8 (and whoever else is turbo'd) went Twin turbocharged? just ease of plumbing? i dont really see how that would be easier to route piping, i mean cause of the turbo-intercooler piping. woulnt it be easier to just use one turbo? i mean i guess it would be harder to plumb another hot pipe but then at the same time wouldnt it be easier on the I/C side? im just curious because i definitly want to turbo my KA7 and get 300ish whp, but i dont understand why TT is so popular. |

Well the long answer is in my thread there are 2 short answers, one to be unique and the added challenge and 2. two me twins spread the power better for a multi-track car 1/4 mile and autocross I needed a quicker spool time and quick power.

see i kinda figured that part of it would be the unique appeal, i just find it more expensive than i personally deem necessary. would you ever go to a single turbo? |

Sure. I think about it a few times a month and plan to design a y off the existing setup to a single big turbo so I can switch back and forth depending on the track. But as for what I like more who knows what I do know is that those that have riden in it and or driven it were simply in awe as to its power and how it performs.

i see. just reading through your thread, your setup looks good, but dang lol thats sooo much fab. not trying to sound negative. you and DV8 have reallly shown me the influenced what i want to do with my car, ever since i started lurking about a year and a half ago. where did you research everything for your build? like book wise, because i have Corky Bells maximum boost, and another book about turbo charging, anything else you'd recommend? |

sig worthy DV8, def. props on this post my friend... lol. IMO I would think small turbo+Large turbo would be optimal performance on high and low, but dynos prove more than anything (plus track).
