well i bought it with about 149,500 miles from the orginal owner in dallas back in december of 08'. the car was in bad condition though he absolutly trashed the car, here's a list: tree sap in the wheels, tree sap and dirt alll over the car, dirt in the interior the whole interior had black mold looking stuff everywhere, the power steering did not work, windows would not roll down, bald tires, no windshield wipers, radio didnt work, the lip was basically torn off, black smoke went every on start up (Even driving around) looked like a diesel driving down the road..what else.. o yeah the car had idling issue (the 1 to 3k rpm bouncing) , back lights were cracked, A/C didnt work and brake pads were basically gone. and one more thing, the car hasnt been serviced since 1993 (When i bought the car) All pics were taken @ the Oasis ( about 3mins from where i live) 6/5/09 So i bought a pretty fucked up car, but it was $1,100.00 (the owner wanted $2,500)the car was worth 600.00 in the condition it "was" so after hours and hours of cleaning and Lamb's Goodyear visits...my car has turned out to be this...(still not where i want it to be) the car currently has 168,400 miles on it. (yes i love to drive) -enjoi Last edited by Apex|000; 06-05-2009 at 04:22 PM. |

Certainly did/doing great work to that car. I'm trying to do a similar conversion, I got mine with average aging issues, and it's bone stock (and some maintenance items haven't been attended to in years). You certainly love to drive. My friend got a Passat in August 07 and it died (timing belt went) last month and he put over 60,000 miles on it, haha
