Neither.

You want something compact enough to fit in the housing, with a nice sharp cut off lens, and something that has the hi and low beam in one projector, like a D2S projector. KA7 lights can fit larger projectors than the KA8's, the KA8's are a tight fit....

+1 TL projectors are too large to fit properly, and the tsx's aren't bi-xenon iirc.

I personally like the hella 3" projectors, they fit nice, also the 2.5" fxR's are good too

The TSX is a fantastic projector, it doesn't have high beam like The TL which is Bi-xenon. (High and low beam.) The TL projector is one of the Best projectors you can buy but requires a lot more modification. (To fit our light housing) The selenoid can be swopped with a smaller one. iirc the MH1 selenoid is used for mounting it in smaller housings.

The next best Bi-xenon projector would be the FX-R.

If you want the best responce join www.hidplanet.com I have learned so much since becoming a member there.

The new Mini H1's are real nice too, they use the same cutoff lens as the FX-R and are even more compact. Im using those in my KA8 JDM's.

I would disagree. I agree they are good projectors, but not for the JDM KA7/8 lights. What is the sense is having to cut up the housing and reflector bowls to get them to fit. They are just too big.

You disagree that which is not good FX-r or TL's? As Chrispy mentioned, if your a beginner the Mini H1's are the way to go.

Fx-R's are a Tight squeeze in jdm housings. I'm actually going to try and get rid of mine and go for the smaller mini h1's like chrispy has mentioned.

Chris since you have JDM's on both your coupes, hands down what's the best and easiest set for a noob like my myself. My jdm's are already wired so that I have high beams ad I plan to use a 6000k hid kit
