Well the new carpet will fit over sound deadener and cause no issues. True two layers of carpet and a layer of sound deadener won't work. Sounds to me like the shop doesn't want to do the labor (and there is plenty of it to do). There are all kinds of holes and so forth that need to be accessible. Hmm I should have pics in my build.

I'm having them do some rework, so I haven't posted pics yet. I want everything to be fully complete before I do. Its looking good though.

Next tasks to complete (items ordered last night) :

1. Drain tranny and fill with GM synchromesh fluid.
2. Change hood struts
3. Install passenger rear ABS sensor.
4. Replace horn
5. Paint exterior trim & wipers with SEM Black Trim paint
6. Touch up a few knicks on the body
7. Paint tail lights using T-Clyde's DIY.

That's more than I thought!

Alright fam, I know its been a while since I've provided an update. Had a few things going on and just decided to fall back for a while. So here's what's been done:

- Katzkins
- Carpet
- OEM moonroof visor
- new hood struts
- painted wiper arms
- painted grille
- interior LED bulbs
- rear brakes
