Just messing with you. Just know that emotions you have are 100% in your control. Any outside influence that you allow to affect you is a hole in your boundary. What is the source of your angst?

Whoa buddy, seems like you are always telling me to calm down, whats happening?!

First off, never been quite sure of how old you are. Also what type of school did you go to? Did your parents make you go to church as a kid?

Im one of the others, and I make no secret of it. Although it got me into trouble post nalm, that was really more my fault than its fault. I wasnt on it at the time, i was just being stupid about it. For me, Its just a part of life. I've always considered myself to be a hunter in a gatherer society. I tend to alternate long periods of inactivity with furious periods of non stop working. Its just how my body functions. Still, Its not always possible for me to live like this because of how the rest of the world is set up. So when I have to squeeze into my normal hours keeping upstanding citizen costume, a little THC really helps me take the edge off.

Funny thing is, I really didn't even enjoy it very much when I started, but pretty much everyone who knew me said they had noticed a big change in my personality and it seemed like most of the chip on my shoulder was gone. This was many many years ago. Now I consider myself to be further on the rational side of the scale than the majority of people.

Gotta stop here though, and say, Its NOT FOR EVERYONE. Its something you can try though. It works for a lot of people. If it doesnt work for you, consider seeing a psychiatrist. Brain Chemistry is a crazy thing and no one quite understands it.

I actually disagree with this. Its possible to control most of your emotions but not 100% of em. I've been so angry I've literally gone blind for about 30 seconds before keeling over and vomiting everything i had in me, to prevent me from almost strangling someone..

OR maybe it is possible for a normal person to control 100% of their emotions, in which case, I go back to my advice of seeking psychiatric help.

My angst is in regards to my work, I am an android developer and I regularly push tons of hours to make ends meet, I'm trying to make enough money to move out and cover my expenses while being a full time student at IIT (illinois institute of technology)... and it's tough and I'm finding that everytime I make a friend it almost always ends up as someone who attempts to exploit my skills because of their inability to compete in a class... it's tough I don't have time for so much BS and I'm usually never angry... talked to my g/f today she said it was the fifth time she has seen me angry in two years, as such I don't have methods of coping with anger (because I don't get angry) and it's just so much shit expected of me, sometimes its just rough ya know?

try this next time you get infuriated. use all of that emotion and energy to do a good workout. drop down to the ground and do as many push-ups as you can until your arms collapse. scream and shout and grunt and let all of that frustration out as you keep going. then, as you get up with 2 dead arms, go find a wall and punch the shit out of it. likely, your arms will be so dead that you won't even be able to do any damage to the wall or your hand. if there's still anger and frustration then go on a run. sprint and run until you're exhausted. this kinda stuff helps me let out that kind of stuff. warning: you may break a sweat and/or be sore the next day.

i've been in the same situation a lot of times with no exit. at all. sides to drive. and that's put me in worse positions. i was able to find a way to Jesus.. and don't take this forgranted, but kneeling, closing your eyes, taking a deep breath, and praying about whatever it is however you have to.. you can feel a lot better. sorta just goes away. just try not to cuss when doing it. ;]

Less time with those who stress you out and more time talking to her. Put everyone else on the back burner for her. Let her know that you want see on webcam or whatever more than you want to help others. Don't let idiots try to take advantage of your God given talents for THEIR gains.
I read in a magazine recently (I can't recall which one right now), but it gave a list of a couple of things that make people happy.
1) Being productive
2) Accomplishing for themselves
3) Accomplishing for those they love
4) Giving back to charity
5) Fostering the growth of others..

Notice how you come before everyone else? It's vital that you satisfy yourself before committing your talents to others. Don't worry about moving out, don't worry about anything...focus on YOU, SCHOOL and your girl. Trust me, everyone else may just go away, but your girl wants to be around for a long, long, time.

^ Try this first then go to the next step, maybe watch some Tosh.O and laugh a lil, good ole slut-a-ne session wit the Mrs and turn off the phone.
