Geez are you just discovering the barter system?! maybe its because it tends to be mostly blue collar workers around here, but i do more on the barter system at this point then i do actually selling my services.. end up paying less tax too.
artillery, I may have to retract my earlier statement about trying some maryjane. I thought about some of the other posts of yours I've seen, and I can remember at least a few occasions where you tried to calm someone and have them look on the brightside of a situation where they were angry. While I think this is normally good advice, in the times I am thinking of, the person absolutely had a right to be angry. Even Jesus got angry. There is a difference between righteous anger and wrath. People are still animals. We can reason, but our brains still tend to work like animals. When someone tries to take advantage of you, you have to put a stop to it then, or they will just continue to do so. The trick is knowing when anger is appropriate. I for one tend to rage immediately after whatever has upset me, and then calm down pretty quickly. Thats one of the reasons I run things by folks on the forum, because im not sure if im calm enough to make a rational decision as to whether or not my anger is righteous and justified. but maybe try a little thc anyway. |

I'm going to go against the grain of modern society and say... Maybe you need to get into a good old fashioned fist fight. Just don't lose or get arrested because that will make you more angry. Men are still like animals and we need a little conflict and ego boosting now and then.
A mans ego needs to be stroked in the most primitive way possible every once in a while. Modern society frowns upon this activity but it really is the best way to make yourself more confident. No need for guns and knives. I used to be a very angry teenager. I think all that was needed were the few scuffles I got in (and one large brawl) and a little more social interaction and attention from girls. I eventually found all that and my outlook on life and myself did a 180. In my mind, I was an Alpha Male. A few years went by and anger started to fill me again due to some political circumstances in my life I couldn't control and a little restlessness. I ended up in Brazil, getting mugged by 2 amateur thugs on the beach in the middle of the night. Long story short, I ended up chasing down one of them and beating the crap out of him. The other guy who had my money, threw it back at my wife and told her to tell me to stop beating his friend (he spoke portugese, me english obviously). I was invigorated, shortly after that incident, I was so full of life. I spent nearly a month in Brazil after that and pretty much all I did was have sweaty, long, enjoyable sex with my wife (fiance at the time) in a humid, small apartment. This was several years ago and I still feel great and am enjoying life. As much as girls will deny it, they like watching their mates win a fight. Something in their head just clicks. This will have another positive outcome on your life. ![]() How you go about finding a fight, I can offer no advice on that. Unfortunately, in america, it is very difficult to get into an innocent fist fight and not get charges pressed on you or sued. Or, even worse, shot by some pussy with a gun. I really think the reason so many people beat their wives or girlfriends or children is because they don't get into enough regular fights with other men. I also think the reason that George Bush, Dick Cheney, Adolf Hitler types start wars, is because they've probably never gotten into a fight or were bullied as children. Call me a neanderthal or whatever but I believe I am very "in touch" with modern society AND my inner animalistic self. Good luck with your anger issues. EDIT: and the thing said about ignoring all the bullshit. That helps too. You can't control everything JayP.
