Humming noise when m/t is in reverse?
This happens mostly on cold starts when I first start the car to leave. The car makes a humming noise kinda like the fuel pump priming, but way louder and longer. Sounds like it's coming from the drivers side from the rear, but not positive. Diff and tranny fluid has been replaced. Tranny with penzoil synchromesh and diff with regular Mobil 1 gear oil. It's really cold here if that matters. I used to also not be able to shift into reverse sometimes without rolling it forward or backwards, but that problem, which I've read is common, hasn't been a problem in over a year....now it humms
