I'm missing something, maybe a bumper or a spring? Unsure.

But I can pull the gas door lever inside of the car and it 'unlocks' the gas door. However, it doesn't push open. So I have to wedge something under the pull and then go outside and open the door. pita.

Does anyone have an idea of what pushes the gas door open? Or perhaps, can someone take pictures of their door open so I can see what I'm missing?

sometimes the hinge just needs to be lubes, otherwise, the hinge has a little spring in it which springs the door open once its released.

Got it. This means I am missing the spring, then. Time to locate one.

Same thing. Lubed it, but no spring...will check my other car and see if it has one.

please do. If you have one that works the way it should, take some photos of it if you can. Its minor but also, really annoying to not be able to open your fuel door lol
