Well I know of a little birdy whose going to be adding a wet nitrous system to his legend to make it have superior powa!
Anyways I was talking to a few members about this, and they were saying the nitrous is pointless on a legend because who wants a 200whp legend and barely 300whp when you flick a switch. So is nitrous really THAT frond upon here? Also are people running any chips with with nitrous by chance? Or will a standalone be the 'better' way?

Talk to 1BADKA7, he has a chip with nitrous.
I don't see how it'd be "pointless". It's relatively cheap. It's easy to install. It adds power. What more do people want?

I dont think its pointless its cheap power if you want to go that route. im running Telion's chip with a 65 wet shot and my car runs good. I haven't had a chance to dyno to see what im puttin down but i'm guessing 260-270 whp high altitude sucks!
you can get a fairly good tune with a safc but a standalone would be better.

Nitrous is great N/A power adder. I exclusively ran nitrous on my Legend for 7+ years. I ran a bayou stage 2 chip for years and then the EMS. I made well over 300hp/tq on nitrous using a 125 shot. I do things in steps and usually don't get greedy, thats probably why my original 3.5 build from 03' is still runing never being torn into for a rebuild. Fuel tuning is key when fucking with any power adder. A wideband and dyno is a must for piece of mind.
There does come a time where temporary hp no longer does the trick. I wanted a permanent gain therefore I went with a turbo. Cheap, easy and you'll probably be faster than 60% of the cars on the road. watch out for the cops! ~Dv8

damn thats gotta say something about the 3.5's considering how much crap people have been giving saying the only reason bhg are not an issue with them is they dont have the miles or abuse on them..YET. but that gives me some hope to think they may have fixxed some issues they had with the 3.2. thanks for posting that lol

Since 03' probably around 10-15k. Most of that was dyno, drag and nitrous. That Legend stopped being my DD sometime in 04'. ~Dv8

haha I'm not installing it for my legend. Only vids from my car with nitrous will be 150+ shots either on a dyno or against a buddies viper.
Thats when my legend engine swap will be right after cause I'm just going to spray till it pops haha Thanks for the info guys. 1badka7 did telion give you a nitrous map or just a basic map that everyone else uses? dv8 the cars got a wideband and safc2 currently just the dyno part will be the last "major" thing
