Default Strange sound, need help!

I've noticed for a while now this weird sound, sounds like vibrating metal from in the cabin, and happens when I accelerate at low speeds (5-20mph).

I got underneath the car today to see if I could spot the vibration, but turns out it is actually an air escaping sound, almost like a small blowoff valve. It originates around this area, in front of the cat converter, around the rear of the transmission (MT).

Part 16 in that picture is a nasty looking gasket, but to my surprise, that isn't the part making the noise, but rather above/around it.

This is a subtle but annoying issue, wondering if anyone has any idea what this might be. Thanks for your help!

You probably need to replace the flange gasket between the cat and the Y pipe.

I know I had a vibrating sound a while back ago. It turns out the heat shield for my cat was falling apart, so I just got rid of it. I'm not sure about the air escaping sound though.

If it's not that gasket, might be the y pipe gaskets. Or you might have a cracked pipe.
