What's up org? I am seeking interest in parting this car out. Inside is black leather and its an auto. Legend has a blown head gasket. I am very popular and trustworthy over on the maxima.org forums. I am an honest seller and love to help people with parts. Please check out my i-trader feedback on the maxima forums. I look forward to doing business with you guys. Thanks and happy hunting. John Edit: My location is near baltimore maryland. Last edited by Teaner; 10-30-2009 at 02:08 PM. |

Teaner: Welcome to the forum. Are you sure that car is an LS model? It looks like an "L" model. Does it have 2 knob controls for the A/C or just 1?

To all org members, if enough people express interest in parts I can pick this car up ASAP. This is some what of a trial and error for me because I don't know how popular these cars are and the demand for the parts. Once I know there are a demand for these parts, I will and can pick up this legend and any other legends in the future. The interior is in great shape!!! The front 2 seats are a little worn, but no tears or rips. New pics added to post #1 and post #3 Last edited by Teaner; 10-30-2009 at 02:19 PM. | |

If you are looking to part it, an L model will be quite a bit less in value than an LS model.

LOL. Ok, redflags have to be thrown here, if only to learn more of the situation from you. One, you open up by saying you want to earn our trust, then reveal you want to part a car that isn't yours? Two, it would seem that you don't even have the keys or access to the car. You had to wait for the owner to be away from home to take pictures of it? That makes me wonder how good the relationship between you and the "seller" even are. If you were close to buying/owning/acquiring it, wouldn't the owner let you into the car and let you take pictures? Why the sneaking? Again, not trying to lay into you, I'm just calling it as I see it at the moment. Please explain the situation a bit better. |

When I buy maximas, to sell as a whole or to part out, my name is never put on the title. The only reason the car is physically not in my possesion is because I am not 100% sure this forum/type of car will allow me to make this a success. Again, "gauging interest" comes into play. The owner of the car was at work and gave me the address of the car for me to go take a look at it. Rush hour was a factor here in MD and he understood that and was ok with me checking out the car without him. The car will not be purchased until I can gurantee enough peeps want parts ff of it. What it comes down to is you guys here? If enough peeps express interest in the parts, I will buy the car from the owner. Till then, if I dont see enough interest in the part out or it being worth my time, then I won't get into Acura Legends, and may lean more towards Acura Integras or something else just as popular as a maxima. I am between jobs right now and I have been very succesful in the maxima community and plan on making this a small business and perhaps one day acquiring a dealers license. I hope this helps clear up any red flags. I am a very honest person and plan to continue being a great seller no matter what cars/forums I get into. Again, time isn't an issue. I'm mainly trying to figure out if its worth getting into Acura Legends. I have gotten several emails about parts already. I do understand everyone's concerns and I'm not trying to be nasty or disrespectful in anyway. I am taking the time to explain my self and my situation, so I hope that earns somewhat of a trust level. We do have to start off somewhere. Hope this sheds some light on everything.
