				  |  Intake Manifold set ups 
			
			I initially was looking for info on gutting the intake manifold but could not find what I was looking for after trying to filter through years of threads on a-l.com and a few here. I feel like it was DV8 that had a thread on it but you guys can only imagine how many threads pop up when you put the words intake and manifold in the search bar. As well, I know a few guys have built custom manifolds.  Now I know there have to be a different benefits for having a gutted manifold versus a p&p manifold based on the set up of the motor and which direction one wants to go in with their modifications. So Im wondering what kind of manifold set ups people are running and why. Also, what direction they are going in with their motor, ie. FI, N/A, Top end power or torque, low end power and torque, etc. My goal is to gather information on the different styles of manifolds and how they are geared to improve to performance. So please feel free to post up. and the general disclaimer: If this thread becomes worthless or a flame pool, go ahead and delete it. If it needs to be moved, by all means do so. Please don't tell me to search because I already explained the whole "intake manifold + search bar" problem, if you happen to find a good thread please just link it here. |
