Lusting for an S2000? I am.
So, I've noticed that many people here that buy other cars usually "move up" and buy a G35 or a TL or something along the lines of a newer V6 with leather seats.
I really, really am considering buying an S2000. Why doesn't anybody talk about them here? Why no love for the ultimate Honda roadster? So many people here want an NSX but an S2000 is way more accessible. I'd love an NSX but reality is forcing me to consider the "other" Honda sports car. What a great engine these things have.

my buddy has a 2004 Stook with a 10 pound toda flywheel and kevlar clutch. It's truly a beast on the track. I love that car so much! The stook has the best transmission ever created by human engineers.

I've been thinking lately, taking a G2 TII 6spd coupe, and converting it to RWD with the back bits of an S2K. I think they look great, but they are WAY to small for me. I got stuck inside one at the Honda dealer once, have you seen where they put the door handles in these damn things? They are under the dash in the carpet... It had the top up, I was in the showroom, I had to beep the horn and have somebody come and let me out....

I've got about, 6-7+ friends with S2000's. Anymore, seeing those isn't any different than seeing a civic.
 They aren't bad cars, and if you have the funds to mod it nicely they can look really good and are fun to drive.Edit: here's for a little inspiration. This is my friends car that we did a color change on at the shop I work at. It was black, now it is Laguna Seca Blue:
