DIY: my new toy

I’ve been wanting one of these for some time and finally found one. Rockford Fosgate came out with this OminFi DMP1 20gig in 2003 and discontinued it shortly after despite rave reviews and an award at the CES that year.
Hooking it up was the easy part. It took me a week to find a program that would work with the hdd and my computer to get the music onto the hdd. I almost gave up until I came across a program called aqusync. Now that I got it up and running I’m going to install it better and hide some wires move some stuff and find a suitable place for the unit’s faceplate (right now it’s sitting in front of the clock. I’m thinking about cutting the edge of the dash storage bin lid and mounting it there.
