Default Another strut bar idea

I have been debating how I am going to do my strutbar for my car because it sits higher than the Type II. I don't want to spend a alot of money and buy one to find that it won't fit so I started looking at the ones on Ebay and came up with an idea. Do you guys think this would work before I go further? The bar is hollow aluminum and only cost $28.00

I thought I would entertain this idea but if someone sees a flaw I will cut it down and go with the mounting points and style that are on the current bars on here for our cars. My car was outside at the time of the pics so excuse the messy mock up car.

that looks beefy... but with all these bars (mls, ids, emmaculate95gs, legend-coupe etc..) is there any real difference performance wise between them?

Well I am not looking to put another bar on the market, its just none of them fit my car. As for the differences the MLS has a solid name and proven results. The IDS is a phenomenal bar (had it personally) and Legend coupes bar looks very promising and emacs bars are tie bars from what I understand and the KRZ bar well I am not fond of its looks at this point.

I think the bar looks fine nice and rigid but the mounting brackets look a little small i would be concerned it doesn't make enough contact.

Well those brackets are actually cardboard, it is surprisingly strong stuff j/k I was mocking up possibilities, and am curious of everyone's thoughts on the mounting points. I will also be emailing you shortly

It does and that is what I was unsure of. Do you thin having that bracket welded to the bracket on the shock tower side would help?

Yeah I really considered going with your bar so as a runner up I may ask you to fabricate what ever way I decide to bolt it down.

Wouldn't a hollow aluminum bar flex, bend, crease, etc. easy? It's hollow, and Aluminum is a pretty soft metal...
