Everyone is on your ass for a reason...not because you fail, but because you're always successful. Sometimes, it's easy for everyone to think you're superman, when you're just the average man with above average successes. One thing at a time man..know what your priorities are in YOUR life..then try to do what best fits your priorities first. It's funny but when you start to recognize your priorities, then all else begins to fall into place.
This man speaks volumes of truth here! I have that same problem...because I 90% of the time succeed at what I put my mind and hands to everyone expects you to do the same for thier situation. Thus they come your way for any and everything . With it being family I will always have to deal with it, so I just learned how.

Take a moment to focus on you and your goals that you're reaching for. As your personal load lightens you can OFFER help to others at that time.

it's a cliche saying, but that sh*t is the Truth... People can expect whatever they want out of you. You're only you... I've been expected to reach lofty levels, of which i knew were not possible for me given the load i was under at a given point in time.

People get disappointed? fuck them, i'm human. I don't even care anymore. When i wake up tomorrow guess what? I'm still going to be me. Just as you will still be you. Letting these people raise your blood pressure is a bad thing.

as JayP said, make your own priorities YOUR priorities. not other peoples' priorities.

Have you tried putting them on the back burner? I'm guessing this is work related, so just remember..if you do your job and their job..then why do they even need a job if you can do both? Just let them know that you will help them at your first chance (unless they're about to get crushed by something...in that case...HELP THEM NOW), but if it's a task that they should be able to do without your assistance, then you might want to put them on the back burner for a couple of minutes. When things don't get done quickly, how can it possibly be your fault if that task was assigned to them?

Your advice is all good but I need to be more obvious about what my issue is.. I wish I could but II am just beyond rage I don't think it would be a good idea for me to say it would be extremely hurtful to any parties involved

i think you need some THC in your system. it won't make your problems go away but it will give you some relief and take your mind off of things that are stressful. i know this isn't sound advice but it's honestly what works for me (and lots of others).

1) Go to Goodwill
2) Buy up a bunch of yellow plates a couple black ones
3) Break as necessary
4) When you have enough broken pieces, make a mosiac of a happy face

They're asking you b/c you're dependable, and they're not a lot of people like you out there. Sometimes, however, they can take advantage of you, and you can't let them. The word "No" is a powerful one, but not one that you should be afraid of using.

+1, saying no can help out, or saying I'm a little busy right. Don't let it get to ya mayne.
